Loan Information

What May I Borrow?

  • Most items are available for loan with the exception of reference materials and news papers.

How Many May I Borrow?

  • 15 titles in total, with limits on the following
  • 6 magazines issues
  • 4 audio books
  • 4 videos/DVDs
  • 3 CDs

  • You are responsible for the care and return of all material borrowed on your card or on your child(ren)'s.

  • Material may be renewed as long as it is not reserved by another patron. There is a limit of 1 renewal.

  • We encourage you to renew items over the phone if you can't get to the library. Telephone renewals can be done anytime by calling 428-4141. If no one is available to take your call, please leave a message. Reserving and renewing books can also be done on the website.

Lost Items

  • Lost materials should be reported to the front desk. The price of the item and a processing fee will be levied.

How Long May I Keep Items?

  • Bestsellers - 2 weeks
  • CDs - 2 weeks
  • Videos/DVDs - 1 week
  • Other items - 3 weeks

Overdue Fine Schedule

  • Bestsellers - 25¢ /day - max $5
  • CDs & Videos/DVDs - 50¢ /day - max $5
  • Interlibrary Loan items - 50¢ /day - max unlimited
  • Junior/Easy Books - 10¢ /day - max $4

  • Other items - 15¢ /day - max $4

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for materials signed out on their child(ren)'s card (s). When fines on these cards reach $5.00 parent's/guardians borrowing privileges may be suspended as well as the card-holder with the fine.

Donation of Material

  • The library welcomes donations of all kinds, with the exception of Readers Digest Condensed Books, encyclopedias, text books, and books in bad condition.
